Click this, and you’ll be taken to the following menu which will pop up from the right side of the main OneNote window. From here, the Settings icon will appear in the bottom left-hand corner. Still, this tiny tool has more possibilities than it seems on the first thought! Beneath the normal text functions, it can convert units, let you directly access frequently run programs, encrypt secret texts, change the system volume by hotkeys, manage windows tasks, and even send notes through a network. To get to the Settings menu, first you’ll need to click on the menu button in the top left corner of the OneNote window. In its resizable window you can jot down your notes and organize them in categories or even sketch small drawings.
With Quicknote, it does not matter which programs you are currently using whenever you want to write something down that comes to mind, just 'wake up' Quicknote by touching a small line on the top of your screen with the mouse or by pressing shortcut keys. Too many things to do in order to simply write down a thought? With a plain text editor, which can be used for this purpose, you have to run the program first, then create a new file, then type a line or two and save the file. Often you do not need an advanced text processor but a virtual scrapbook to write down an occasional thought, a plan for the day or an Internet URL. We got in the habit of using Quick Note and think the ability to use it across our Mac and iPhone will be ideal when it comes in a future release.Very versatile notebook with practical features While there's nothing exciting about this app as it stands, using Quick Note is much better than opening text documents and working with them. Having it accessible with one click on the Mac makes it easy to start to depend on, and it worked fine for us. We liked Quick Note for what it is: a simple note taker just like the Notes app on the iPhone. With the current version, there's no ability to synchronize notes across multiple devices, but the publisher is apparently working on this feature. A search feature gives you really fast access to relevant notes based on keywords. Editing notes is as simple as positioning the cursor in an existing note. Let it boot normally until it reaches the login screen. Select the destination folder where you want to extract the files and extract them.
Once downloaded, right click/long tap on the downloaded file and choose Extract all.

Quick Note is a simple download and runs in the background for fast access. Device activation improvements: We have received a lot of feedback from Insiders on making it easier to activate Windows 10 on devices that take advantage of the free upgrade offer to genuine Windows by using existing Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 product keys. Quick Note moves that quick note-taking capability to the Mac. If you've used the Notes app on an iPhone you know how easy it can be to scribble quick notes to yourself about any odd thing, from shopping lists to reminders.
